Size & Fit Guide

Size & Fit Guide

Finding the right fit comes down to two things: your wrist size and the watch's proportions. Here's how to get both right.

How to measure your wrist

  1. Wrap a flexible tape measure around your wrist, just below the wrist bone where you'd normally wear a watch.
  2. If you don't have a tape measure, use a strip of paper or string, mark where it overlaps, then measure that length against a ruler.
  3. Note the measurement in inches (or centimeters). This is your wrist circumference.

Choosing a case size

Case size is measured as the diameter of the watch case, in millimeters. As a general guide:

  • Smaller wrists tend to suit smaller case diameters, which sit more proportionally.
  • Larger wrists can carry larger case diameters comfortably.
  • Personal preference matters too — some people simply prefer a smaller or larger look. There's no wrong answer.

You'll find the exact case dimensions listed on each product page so you can compare against your own preference.

Getting the strap or bracelet right

A watch should sit snugly but comfortably — you should be able to slip a finger between the strap and your wrist, with no pinching and no sliding around.

  • Leather and rubber straps adjust at the buckle; choose the hole that feels secure without being tight.
  • Metal bracelets are sized by adding or removing links. If your bracelet needs adjusting, a local jeweler or watch shop can do this quickly, or you can use a link-removal tool at home.

A quick tip on comfort

Wrists can swell slightly in heat or after activity, so aim for a fit that's comfortable at the end of the day rather than first thing in the morning.
